Polyguard's Insulrap 'No Torch' 125™ is a 125-MIL thick peel 'n stick vapor retarder membrane for hot and cold piping systems. 'No Torch' 125™ is a multi-laminate product with an 8-MIL polyester scrim reinforced outer membrane over 112-MILs or rubberized bitumen compound with 5-MILs of polyethylene/aluminum foil sandwiched in the middle.
'No Torch' 125™ is to be designed to be installed as a vapor and moisture barrier over insulation for direct burial applications. 'No Torch' 125™ is an elevated temperature membrane (up to 180°F surface temp) which can be installed using no open flame! 'No Torch' 125™ is designed for any type backfill operation over almost any piping system.
'No Torch' 125™ is not UV stable and cannot be exposed to UV light for an extended period of time.
'No Torch' 125™ has the properties necessary to tolerate up to 500% elongation before break, so it will expand and contract with the piping system.
'No Torch' 125™ can be 'factory applied' (see our list of QUALIFIED FABRICATORS) or field applied on the jobsite. Fittings can be a fabricated 2 piece, or gored configuration.
